MICAP

Michigan Council on Alcohol Problems

A Lansing, Michigan-based non-profit committed to saving lives by reducing drunk-driving deaths in our community.

Together, we can create change.

MICAP is proud to announce the launch of a new statewide coalition called .05 Saves Lives, whose mission is to decrease the number of drunk driving deaths in Michigan.

The “.05” in our name reflects our tactic to decrease drunk-driving deaths:

The national BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) legal limit is a .08 BAC, but years of research and a recent statewide case study in Utah prove that a .05 BAC is significantly safer. You can click the below to find out more.

The .05 Issue Brief will download as a PDF in a separate tab.
